I have no one to blame but myself.
Shortly before Father’s Day, I was in Costco and basketball great Bill Russell was there autographing copies of his new book. So, I had him sign one for me, my father-in-law and my dad. What a great Father’s Day gift!
So, the week before Dad’s Day, I bought a card, put it and the book in an envelope and got to the post office in time to make sure it arrived before Sunday.
I felt great about it…until the day before Father’s Day when my wife Victoria pointed out that I had mailed him MY copy of the book.
